RTS PS-8 Intercom Power Supply

The RTS PS8 is a 2 Channel power supply for use in a hardwired intercom system.

The PS8 Power Supply is designed to function in aplications employing small size TW Intercom systems. The unit is completey self-contained and features 2 channel operation; one "wet" channel with 32 volts DC and one "dry" channel without voltage potential. Each channel provides an audio termination impedance of 200 ohms. Outputs are protected against short circuit conditions with recovery bing automatic and instantaneous. Protection circuitry prevents the damage to the power supply from accidental connection to 120 volt AC power lines.

A single PS8 Power Supply powers 12 user stations without call lights, seven speaker staions without call lights, seven speaker staions with call lights, or five speaker stations with call lights. A combination of sttions may be used with respect to maximum current capabilites.

Is more user stations are needed, 2 PS8 Power Supplies can be audio coupled together to double the powering capablity; use a 1/4" 3-circuit phone jack for this purpose.

There are two 3-Pin Male XLR connectors mounted to the rear of the panel for output interconnectins to the user stations. The PS8 does not have program inserction capability.
