Fusion FP-8122 Vapor Straight Gate Modified "D" Carabiner

The Fusion Climb Vapor Straight Gate Modified "D" Aluminum Carabiner is a modified "D" shaped carabiner with an straight gate. The straight gate is a bit stronger than bent gate carabiners. It is light-weight, strong and versatile with a large nose and opening for easy clipping. The non-locking gate is ideal for general use and when clipping quickly is important. The non-locking gate is spring loaded to ensure immedite gate closure upon release. Aluminum is significantly lighter than steel and is more popular in the industries where weight is a major factor. The modified "D" shape helps to push the load to the back of the spine. Allows the weight to be carried primarily by the spine and less by the gate. Key nose carabiner does not have a notch to snag on anything, making clipping/unclipping simple.
