Radial JDI Stereo Jensen-equipped 2-Channel Passive Instrument Direct Box

The Radial JDI Stereo is a high performance 2-channel passive direct box for live concert touring and professional recording applications, featuring premium Jensen transformers for exceptional audio performance.

The JDI Stereo employs two Jenson high performance transformers that at once lower the impedance and balance the signal to deliver a pristine low-Z mic level signal for the PA system and recorder. Unlike active circuits that are limited by rail voltage, the Jensen transformers are able to withstand huge signal levels and transients without choking. This makes the JDI Stereo a terrific choice for high output instruments such as active bass, digital piano or electric drums. Transformers also provide maximum isolation to eliminate noise. Made 'Radial tough', the JDI Stereo is well suited for the most demanding applications whether for live touring, broadcast or recording.

• Inputs Left right - for unbalanced 1/4” input jacks used to connect instruments to the JDI Stereo
• Thru left & right - from the JDI Stereo to the amp. High impedance will not load instrument down.
• -15dB PAD left - allows super-hot inputs such as from a CD player to be connected
• -15dB PAD right - allows super-hot inputs such as from a CD player to be connected
• XLR Ouput - balanced  150Ω mic-level output for runs to 300' without appreciable noise
• Ground Lift - disconnects the ground path to the transformer at the XLR output
• Jensen transformers - nickel core transformer for distortion-free signal transfer and 100% isolation
• MU-Metal shield - for protection against radio frequency and electromagnet interference
• Book end design - creates a protective zone around the jacks and switches
• 14-Gauge steel - welded I-beam enclosure makes it impossible to torque the PC board. Eliminates cold solder joints.
