Telrad Spotting Scope, Red/Green Sight

The easiest way to aim a followspot. The Telrad Sight Finder was originally developed for astronomy applications but is very popular with follow spotlight operators as well. The view seen through the window of the Telrad is continuous with the surroundings, not magnified or upside down.

When you look through the Telrad finder you will see a 3 lighted rings. To point your followspot, just look through the Telrad and move the followspot until the rings are centered on the object.

The Telrad mounts to your telescope easily and cleanly with double stick tape. Many followspot operators use Gaffers Tape for a temporary installation.
