Luminex RPSU 5580 Secondary Power Supply Unit for 2nd Gen Units

The RPSU 5580 is a versatile ½ 19” power supply unit designed to complement select* GigaCore Ethernet switches, offering enhanced power options for AV integration and installations where reliability is paramount.

In redundant mode, the RPSU 5580 ensures uninterrupted operation by seamlessly taking over in the event of a PSU or power cable failure, guaranteeing continuous performance of the connected GigaCore switch. Alternatively, when redundancy is not required, it can be used to significantly increase the PoE budget, providing additional power for demanding setups.

The RPSU 5580 can be rack-mounted as a standalone unit or paired with a ½ 19” GigaCore model within a single 1U rack space.

The RPSU 5580 features front-panel status indicator LEDs, while its redundancy or load-sharing status can be easily monitored and controlled via Araneo and displayed near the connected GigaCore switch.
